Hah, I forgot that this one guy came up to us and said "At the end, Joker is Robin's father" and we're like ah fuck, thanks for ruining the movie for us.
But I guess Robin wasn't in this movie, hopefully he comes soon, I want to see him, that would be fucking sweet. |

Although this is true a lot of the time. I really enjoyed the whole Robin getting fired by Batman and becoming Nightwing story arc.

Christian Bale recently said in an interview that he wouldn't be in a batman movie if there was robin in it, so we dont have to worry about the boy wonder showing up anytime soon. This movie was amazing and I will see it again in the theater. Anyone know if its coming to the IMAX in Regina ever?? |

jesus....Bale was dope as hell but Ledger was incredible....the whole time i was thinking "man this Joker is one fucking crazy bastard" and i never once thought about Nicholson which says alot....people are talking about him becoming the first actor since the 70's to win an Oscar posthumously, and i wouldnt disagree...
btw it broke almost every opening day weekend record or some shit...
one of the best movies and by far the best Batman in the series...

Really? I mean it's a dope movie but...
And that scene with the two boats, how contrived was that? I understand they're [the movie makers] are trying to make a point, but fact is that in 'reality' (hard to speak of it when dealing with a comic adaptation) someone would've pressed the button within the first minute.
No doubt it was a solid movie, it just seems people are going a bit over board with it...
Harvey Dent/Two face was amazing. Joker was indeed phenominal, but Oscar worthy?...
I hope they bring Bane in for the third instalment. |

but in the first place, hopefully, city councillours/police dept. wouldnt put a large group of civilians/criminals at risk in the way that putting them on a ferry would.
its suspended reality.
i was so excited that whole day that i woke up at 9 am when the movie started at 12 to be there early and it carried through the whole day hahaha.
even wrote some belligerant raps too! |

Yeah I grew up watching X-Files with my Dad.
We'd sit there while he got stoned and watch X-Files whenever possible.
Well he used to get stoned and watch Star Trek a lot too...I tried to get into that show but man it just sucks too much.
