Holy shit this game is addicting....
played a friends copy this weekend, and went out and bought a PS3 with this game yesterday!
Played for a good 6 hours...can get most songs 4-5 stars on Medium...next level starts to mess me up.
Some of these mixes are hot!!

I bought this a couple weeks ago but don't have enough time at the moment to get really into it with school and work. I was expecting a battle mode like in Guitar hero 3, it just makes sense for a DJ game. It's funny how you cut out the swears yourself while playing the tracks. Like Ache said some of the mixes are hot! My Favorite Bitter Sweet Symphony/Rock the bells. Did you guys get suckered into the Renegade edition? I couldn't justify the added cost. i got the Renegade edition...
one nice thing is it comes with a decent coffin, and telescoping legs so you can stand. i thought the other edition didnt have that?

i got the renagade edition too
the stand is useless its awkward and shakey
the only reason i got the renagade edition, is a was told the knobs on the table/mixer control were metal instead of plastic like the regular set.
they lied.
its a cool toy tho.
some of the songs are highly homo.
some are really dope.
overall i'm glad i got it.

Scratch pretty much just bit off of Beatmania. DJ Hero is at least fairly original (which is surprising due to it being from Activision).
Although I'm pretty sure the scratch controller and gameplay was revealed before DJ Hero was.

The only problem I find with this game (and I have yet to play it so bear that in mind) is that the replayability seems up to the DLC that's being offered.
And from what I've seen, the extra songs are expensive and not that "good".
So who knows... |

I bought it and the controller was fucked so I took it back.....after an afternoon of finding out that the 150 dollars was NOT justified.
Its fun to fuck around on but at the price its not worth it.
